City Accelerates Sidewalk Revitalization Construction in Jakarta

Jakarta Government accelerates sidewalk revitalization in several Jakarta regions since the project is targeted to complete by the end of this year.

Hopefully it can be finished by the end of this year

Jakarta Secretary, Saefullah expected, sidewalk revitalization can give more comfort for pedestrian and ease them to get public transportation.

"Hopefully it can be finished by the end of this year. We want to provide sidewalk that is comfort and safe for pedestrians," he explained, Thursday (9/5).

Process of Accessible Sidewalks Construction in North Jakarta Reaches 70 Percent

His side is currently revitalizing sidewalks in Kemang, Cikini, Sudirman, Kuningan, and Casablanca.

 

"When revitalization is done, I am sure people will prefer to walk than using private vehicle," he expressed.
